Location: Perkasie
Hours/Schedule: M-F 7-3:30 Type: Contract to hire
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively within a team of engineers and technologists.
- Provide support for daily production requirements through troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to improve processes.
- Perform tests, collect data, and assemble equipment as part of daily tasks.
- Record equipment performance and maintain documentation.
- Quarantine non-conforming parts and evaluate assembly trends.
- Implement solutions to enhance production processes.
- Demonstrate motivation and self-starting initiative.
- Exhibit creativity and innovative thinking in problem-solving.
- Creating and maintaining pictorial and instructional guides.
Requirements:
- 2 year degree preferred or prior manufacturing experience.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and creating guides and flowcharts for future reference.
- Skilled in collaborating with diverse staff members across various departments.
- Experience in documenting tools, parts, and part numbers for process enhancement.
- Proficiency in detailed record-keeping and documentation processes
- Understanding of process improvement in Manufacturing Production.
- Familiarity with Inventory Control preferred.
- Fabrication skills.
- Knowledge of ISO/AS9100 processes and the ability to develop work instructions within a Lean Manufacturing framework is desirable.
